In-House Design, Engineering, and Prototyping
At Heyco, our highly trained and experienced engineers have ready access to the latest AutoCAD, Pro-E, mold-filling analysis software and hardware, for product design, modification, and rapid prototyping - from just an idea to conceptual model in less than 24 hours. Along with expert advice and technical assistance designed to help customers lower material and production costs, we continually reinvest in the latest technology and resources to provide the fastest possible turnaround and lowest lead times in the industry.
Mold Engineering and Tool Design
Heyco’s expertise in mold engineering and tool design ensures that all injection molds and stamping dies are of superior quality to provide increased tool longevity and high quality molding and stamping performance.
Our state-of-the-art equipment, extensive knowledge of the latest injection molding and stamping technologies, and hands-on machining experience benefit our customers by reducing the time and cost of molds and dies used to produce products in high volume quantities.
Heyco's molded manufacturing area includes over 22,000 square feet of climate controlled manufacturing space designed for efficient material flow. More than twenty state-of-the-art, closed loop injection molding machines employ the latest technology that continually monitors the molding process. This process, combined with our centralized raw material conveying and desiccant drying systems, ensures consistently high quality product. Along with standard 6/6 nylon, Heyco molds polycarbonate high temperature 4/6 nylons, halogen free VO nylon, polypropylene and other materials. Our capabilities also include the ability to provide our customers with our products in custom colors and can even customize parts with your company logo or trademark.
Our modern and efficient high-speed stamping production room along with our highly trained technicians, can accommodate a large variety of custom stampings in addition to our core lines of 110V and 220V Power Components. High speed application equipment is available to speed the use of our products and save you money. And, our on-site tool shop provides fast turnaround of tool maintenance, repair and modification.
Inspection and Testing
Heyco provides complete inspection and testing services for all your product qualification needs. These services include First Article Reports that utilize an optical measuring device equipped with advanced video and lighting features, as well as comprehensive product testing in our UL witnessed and CSA category recognized testing facility.
Product Assembly and Application Tooling
From in-house, high speed automated assembly of value-added products to terminating tooling and application equipment for customers to integrate our products in their assemblies, Heyco's services optimize our customer's production processes. We offer solutions of varying sophistication designed to match specific requirements for speed and cost savings. Rapid Response Application Specific Product Solutions
Located within Heyco's Toms River facility, Axcell offers full service engineering, tooling development, and production of injection molded and metal stamped products for any volume, value-added application with minimal initial investments.
Axcell's Engineering & Mold Design Team utilizes CAD and mold flow analysis software to design molds for customer specific and custom modified products in a variety of engineered thermoplastic materials. Part cavities are machined into standard P-20 grade steel mold blocks using wire and sinker EDM equipment, which enable the rapid realization of injection molded products. Backed by 85 years of design experience, our experts can be responsive to the need for cost-effective solutions that meet all your quality and regulatory specifications.
