The original 35 Series Liquid Tight Fittings and the new Liquid Tight Cord Grips (the ‘Heyco-Tite’ Line) have the same functional design. The seals and strain relief actions are the same with the additional improvements and sizes listed below: Note: LTF and RLTF refer to the original style. LTCG and RLTCG refer to the new style. a. The LTCG body lower gland seat and the bottom of the gland are now flat and wider. The bottom of the LTF gland is thinned out to sit in a ridged body seat. b. The LTCG gland material is a 94V-0 Buna-N (NBR compound N-6007). The LTF gland material is a TPE (Santoprene 251-80) c. The RLTCG glands extend up through the fingers and remain between the fingers and the wire when assembled. The RLTF style fingers are above the glands. d. The LTCG bodies and sealing nuts hex sizes are larger and fit both standard fractional and metric wrench sizes. e. The ratchet locks inside the sealing nuts of the LTCG are parallel with the sides of the finger giving a stronger, more positive lock. The LTF ratchets engage the tops of the fingers. f. The LTCG sealing ring under the body hex is deeper and flexible creating a flatter, wider seal. The LTF is a rigid ridge ring.
